23,757 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) positions are open in the July 2026 recruitment drive across all states and circles in India.
Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 40 years (as on 21 September 2026). Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
Candidates must have passed Class 10 with Mathematics and English. Knowledge of local language is also mandatory.
₹100 for General and OBC candidates. No fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates and all female candidates.
Registration closes on 19 September 2026, and application submission closes on 21 September 2026. The correction window is 23-24 September 2026.
